Plane ride

We arrived early at the airport, ate at Axels Bonfire, a chicken BBQ and walleye fingers, not a bad choice. The flight was 4,157 miles. Flying over Wisconsin across Canada north of Nova Scotia south of Greenland. I was able to determine the position we were at when it rang in August 4th -70. The meal was meager, Shirleen's vegetarian tortaline with spinach. I choose the chicken breast the size of half my hand but not as thick, with a cream sauce with veggies and gnocchi. Complimentary wine and beer was available, mixed drinks extra. The neat item on the back of the seat ahead had a small monitor with games movies and plane telemetry You could follow the plane in the air, also it's height, around 39,959 ft, 525 to 610 miles per hour, temp minus 71, distance covered and left with an estimated time of arrival, took 8 hours and 10 minutes. Almost made you feel like you were flying the plane.

It was neat flying in,as we saw a number of ships cruising around, then out in the seas close in we're wind generators. Nice landing but a 10 minute taxi in. As we exited a blast of cool air hit us, it's 6:30am. Now we wait till 9 am for the next leg to Sandefjord, Norway. For the guys, painted in the urinal is a fly to aim at. Enough said, didn't even take a pic.

It is again neat to hear the multiple languages spoken, the Dutch has the ring of German to it.

As I can now see, Ed and Aud have so many plans for us writing this blog up too date with pictures will be hard - but I will try. Jerry and Shirleen written from their porch
